ChiefRocka, I was hoping for a pic request. Could you show how you ran the wires to the horn relay and maybe a pic of your gauges? Thanks.

I enjoyed this thread a lot.

There should of been a pic of that somewhere back in this thread....I drilled a hole near the firewall stock connector and ran the wires under the fenderwell, then back out the front to the relays.

I mounted the relay in that location for ease of install, close to lights, and with the intention of install the cover plates.......

Here's a crappy shot of my Summit guages...and my 30MM shifter. I went with this size, as I thought the other ones were too tiny....

Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....

Yeap, I agree radials for sure.

I went with these because they were cheap, and it's the look I wanted to go with.

As with the 520-13 and 14's on lowriders , I've always like the squared of look of the tread.

Someday, I'll get some radial wide-whites.

But for now....she looks cool.

The wheels are the stocks off of a '69 C-10.....I'm sure they are similar to that of a '63, but I'm not positive.

Cool man...Nice truck...

Looks like your a first time poster...Welcome aboard !!!

I always wondered what it would look like with a red roof....Looks cool.

I think I'm gonna stick with a white roof...I might go with the white grill, though.

You said look at my 'old' truck...did you mean a truck that you don't have anymore, or the truck you got thats old ??

Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....

I sold that one last spring. The red stripe on the side and the top was heavy metal flake red. I just bought a 64 the other day to start on again. Cant decide on paint yet and I gotta slam it yet, get some whitewalls for it and put the motor and trans back in it.
