Looks even better in person guys, very sweet suburban. Got to see it when I bought an radiator of off craigslist . When you opened the garage I was blown away .If it wasn't for the heat evaporating ,I would have drooled all over it.
Found a fellow member and got a nice show and a much needed part, turned out to be a pretty good start to the weekend. I will definitely be following your build.

I got the rest of my brake parts ordered this week. I decided to go with a hydro booster and I picked up a booster/master cylinder off a 2001 one ton van. It didnt have a proportioning valve with it so I got a wilwood adjustable one. I ordered braided front brake lines and a couple of other odd ball parts. I gotta head out of town tomorrow and I hope everything is here by the time I get back home.

I grabbed my back seat so I can get my air tank mocked up and figure out exactly how I am going to mount the battery. The tank fits perfect.



The seat foam is in pretty good shape, just need to get new vinyl for it.

My dad was going to throw these door panels out so I snatched them up. They are in perfect shape. I painted them up to see how they will look. I plan on having them wrapped in vinyl and then doing the insert in the blue highlander material. I just need to find a rear set.

Got back in town and all my parts came in.

I may have to end up trimming up the slosh tub on the drivers side to use this booster and proportioning valve.

Got the bracket for the booster and got it mounted. I had to relocate the proportioning valve to the inboard side. If it were on the outboard side I would have to had to cut into the slosh tubs. I guess the only drawback to mounting it this way is the lines from the booster to the proportioning valve are going to be long. I clocked the booster so the pressure and return lines will be on the bottom.

Finally got all the plumbing done and the hydraulic lines made up so the brakes are now finished.

Absolutely stunning under the hood and those door panels look amazing inside keep up the great progress.

I got to do a little while Im hme for the next couple of days.

I was originally thinking about using a v belt to drive the engine driven compressor like this.



But after trying to get a combo pulley with no luck, I decided to just add an idler pulley like this.



I ordered an idler pulley the other day and got it installed. I think its going to work like I want it.

I got my new door panels and they are in really good shape. I got new seat covers on the way. I was in the garage the other day and thought I saw a mouse...cant have that with me starting the interior. Took a couple of days but I got him.

I got Jerry's buddy the next day. Havent had any more since.

Before I headed out of town this week, my york compressor got here. I got back home last night and my seat covers made it. Got to work a little in the garage and got the bracket fabbed up. Im going to order a turnbuckle for the bottom to tension it. Gotta go find a belt now.

What are you I singing for a pressure switch for the edc? I used a square d with an unloaded. Keeps the pressure of the head for easy start up on the compressor works flawless and adjustable

I dont have the pressure switch or a check valve yet. Do you have a part number for the one you have? looks like square D has several. I have the coalescing filter that kilby used to sell with the oil return kit but I havent decided where to mount them yet.

Has an on off lever right on it. I have mine tightened up to around 250 psi. I didn't use an oil return kit on mine. Just put a water trap about 2ft behind in a location easy to drain it really doesn't push much oil through. Usually drained the trap every couple weeks and I drove this daily while always playing with the air. As for the head I used a breather filter on suction and for pressure I tapped the inside of the fitting on the headwith a 1/2 or 3/8 NPt. Couldn't find the right fitting for the outside threads. I did that while the compressor was running so no shavings would go in. Here us a pic it's not mine but I copied this one for my install. Gm fullsize has a great thread on the exact install

I got the old vinyl stripped off the back seat today and was going get it recovered. I got the seat cover put and it doesnt look to be even close to fitting. UGH!!!
