Bob Grant is a very talented builder out of NorCal, just outside of Chico. He did the metal work on the '67 SWB for Clint Petree of KP Components a few years back.

I think the coolest part of this build will be the nomad rear and roof. Should be really cool

There was a clean '57 at the strippers this morning.

Dropped Steiny's cab and front clip off for body prep.

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)

Boy did Devin and I have a hell of a time getting the front section off. I am a dip stick as I for got to remove the feder brackets from the rear of the fenders. Thank god the corners flexed enough for us to get them off, or the front section would not have come off. Also I would like to thank Devin (dsigh) for all of his help. I did not know him 6 months ago and he reached out to me and we became good friends. Thats why this board rocks. Anyways thanks for all the support

So let me know what you guys think. This is a big investment so I want to mahe the right choice. Thanks
Sorry, I'm a little late for my opinion, but the cross ram is sick. I like it better than the straight velocity stacks. With the amount of custom work going into the sheet metal, the cross ram would fit in just fine. And, oh, you are right...this is a BIG investment. I looked into getting one until I found out how much the cost. I called Kinsler and got my feelings hurt bigtime.

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)

Struts look way better moved inside. I didn't know that Grant Kustoms was right down the road from me, I've seen them mentioned in a few mags but didn't put it together. That hoe is gonna look great judging by your other projects, can't wait to see that project start. I've seen the hoe thing done on 67-72's but never seen it done with the earlier style, should be cool.

Thanks man I am glad you like the build. I will keep posting pics as the build moves on. Motor will be finished in 3weeks. Get the cab back next week from the blaster. Then the body work begins.

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)

Wow.... don't know how I missed this build? Thanks for posting all the photo's, very inspirational.

Do you have any pictures from the side of the truck of your front bumper tuck? Cool mod, thinking about doing the same on my '65 but was wondering how low the bumper hangs.

Thanks!
