Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Over the weekend I made some smooth panels to hide the factory holes on the inside of the fenders. Also it hides a wire loom on the drivers side as well...

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Here is the tank, valve, relay, compressor, etc set up...
It is a 5 gallon tank & brackets from Accuair. A valve block assembly by AirLift & a Viair compressor. Theres a plate mounted in front of the tank for the valves, relay, power junction block, a common ground point, etc. Last edited by JWall; 04-27-2015 at 09:06 AM. |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
The rear set up is done using Ekstensive's 2 link bars & upper bag brackets.
Then a Thorbeck Bros panhard bar. We mounted it in front of the rear end since the blazer gas tank left no room for it in the rear. The front is Ekstensive's kit. |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
What does a 2 link give you that an AOL setup wouldn't do?

I think the results of an AOL or 2 link set up would be similar. I know they both get trash talked on a lot but I've had good results with Ekstensives 2 links in the rear. I went with the 2 link because I like the simplicity of the looks & the design & also worked well with my K5 Blazer gas tank & keeping my bed floor uncut. A lot of people go with the AOL set ups because its fairly easy install & also generally cheaper than buying a 2 link set up. |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Here is the finish product of a long weekend in the shop.
The bed floor is uncut & the truck still have the factory front inner fenders too. Thanks again Low1Ton & RedRat for all the help! |

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Is the ride noticeably different with the 2 link?
