Could also find an underdash unit. Would have to be sectioned out just as the dash was though.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

the car the blue dash was in. that not the same dashin your truck right cause man that looked like one bevery clean car to cut the dash oout of it.

Just would think it to be a shame to destroy a very clean looking car

Still like the idea tho makes me want to put a 57 belair dash in my truck.

Yeah...the truck dash went in the car and the car dash went in the truck.lol
Just kiddin'!

No, didn't cut up the blue/green car. That was just an example pic of what the dash looked like originally.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

I wonder what kinda exhaust he's running, sounds like open headers, then once he starts driving it's like he has mufflers. I'd like to know the specs on it though, motor wise and exhaust. Mainly the mufflers lol.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

LOL they do look the same.

That's the old 305 we had in our black 4x4 though. We ditched that, done a stock rebuild with a mild summit cam, dynomax headers, and edelbrock 4bbl on a 350 and put in it.

Then we traded it for our 84 c10. I need to get some new pics up and make a car domain for it.

Hey it's a swb truck let me find a pic and post.

Thoose are from a few weeks ago, truck looks different now, should have some new pics this weekend hopefully ot next week at the latest to post.

Don't feel too bad on the 305 man, the 305 in the 86 4x4 sucked, and compared to the 305 in this c10 the 350 we put together in the 86 sucked!! The lil' 305 in our c10's a nice motor, it moved it pretty quick and spins tires good too. ESP. for having 2.73's!!! heck I have a built 350 in my monte carlo, and I'd put the 84 up againist it. The 350 in my monte came from our 76 c10, it had a 3 speed stick shift and 4.11 or something posi and it would scream, man I loved it. Same motor in my car, and my car still is no where near as mean as the old 76 was. I'll have to post pics of the 76 once I scan some.

Here's some of the 86 to keep the swb thread going.

Here;s one of our buddy's truck.

You can't see in this pic but my monte carlo is parked next to the yellow super/bubble bee dodge you can see the back corner of.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

LOL yea crappy 35mm film. I forgot had poor quality and picture they take until my digital camera batteries died in the middle of working on the truck.

Soon as it stops raining and I get it washed I'll get some digital ones.

Now up there a ways the big 4x4 it is black, with the gold pinstripe, but the 2wd without the stripes and flares is midnight blue.

I'll be sure to get some new pics once I'm done with the chasis and have cleaned it up a little...

Also, the part everyone seems to like...

MB Quart 5.25" Premium Components in the kick panels; MB Quart 6.5" Q-series components in the doors

10" Pioneer shallow mount subwoofers (2); ARC Audio FD4100 Amplifier hidden under bowtie (which is a removable panel)

Still to come is an ARC Audio FD600.1 Amplifier and Kinetik Cap Killer battery.
