Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
thanks man.
switching it up a little I guess. My backround is deff. in big wheels late model trucks that lay into the rocker or door. I try to bring a little from everything into my build. Wait till yall see my lastest project. I think it will be way different but super cool. |

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
cajundragger. Great looking truck. I would really like to know how they judge at these meets. It always seams that the judging is a bit off. Like you said having all the fabbing you have done and it goes to restored 442. I liked the color of your truck soo much I painted my son 1948 truck bed (He sleeps in a full size truck bed in his room) the same color. Can't wait to see you next project.

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
So, i just read about 5 pages of your post. I cant believe how nice this truck is!! I really like the dodge rims on it.
Im wondering what size tires you were running on them? Ive got a set of 20" dod steel's for my rat project and i dont want to run the 33" tires that are on it. Thanks **** Never mind. Guess if i'd read through the whole thing, id find out. 255 30 r20 before all the fancy work P.S. Im a sucker for black chrome! Looks stellar!!!! Last edited by jmlcolorado; 01-04-2011 at 11:17 PM. |

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
Did I miss it or do you have any pics of the finished out dash? I'm curious to see what all the interior looks like completely finished. I love this truck by the way.

What are the HID lights from? They look sweet. Do they work well?

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
I have 3 questions?
Where did you get your center caps? Why did you change the tires out? What steering column did you use? Last edited by Laid_Out_50; 02-20-2011 at 11:10 PM. |

I changed the rear tires because i widen the rims to 10's and wanted more traction. The column is a roadster column from ididit. anyone went to roundup in austin? I rode down there with some buddies that had a '37chevy and a '31 ford. also had a '53 chevy car with us and a '29 tudor. |

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
I saw your truck at the Roundup. Good looking truck. What modifications did you make to the bed and rear fenders? Bed looks taller than stock and fenders do as well, is this correct?
