That looks like the order I need to place. Where did it come from?? Hurry up and install the carpet! I am debating buying vs having it done locally.

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
So since Don is coming along rather quickly at the farm, I thought that We need to get the cab done so he has more to do, not that Don pushed me or anything, but it was about time to get more done. So over the last couple days we have been bustin our humps to get some headway on this thing. got all th3e bodywork done on it last night around midnight then this morning we loaded it up into tyler's truck, which it barely fit into. And we spent the day cleaning, blowing and finally priming the cab!!!

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
Thanks guys!
Well we went in for another 5 hours today. got it all masked up and sprayed on 8 quarts of gravel guard. Give the Ol' girl some protection. After all she will be a driver. But this is one step closer to getting done. so hopefully by the end of the week we will have some color on it. I am just leaving the cab at work for now so I can stay late and work on it.

I am having firewall envy. Really like that you shaved the body flange that frames the firewall not to mention the door gaps. More of your ideas on my list....dug

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
While Tyler and James are making excellent progress on the cab I am slow and steady at the farm. I removed the oak floor sanded it , was not sure how to finish it ,in the end decided to oil the heck out of it. Then started working on the exhaust, had never done this before. this is how it looks

Don that wood floor looks great!!!! I can not believe how nice it looks. And the exhaust is coming out very nicely. I know the other day we talked about the rims and what we would do with them. I know you spent close to 5 hours sandblasting them to clean them up. Well me and Paul were talking today about them and wondered about polishing them up real nice and shiney. I spent maybe 10 mins sanding this one. I think In the end we may have a winner. Polished!!!!! Posted via Mobile Device

Great work, the cab looks so nice compared to the first few pages. You guys have to feel really good to be at this point now. Those wheels will look sweet polished!

The floor came out real nice.
After seeing some of the guys on here do theirs I may have to try and do my own exhaust. Kim |
