Removed the front sheetmetal today and cleaned up the cowl area and por 15 it before inner cowl install I may lay on another coat once that dries.

Wife booted me out today so I was able to get my tail gate blasted and trim holes welded up some progress is always a gain

It was on when you were at the shop but I only had temporary screws holding it into place, I wanted under the cowl to be protected with something that would hold up so I cleaned it up good and brushed it with por 15 good and heavy. Plus I am going to modify a drain to come out under the cab to prevent getting clogged and running down into the inner side of the fender.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a big day for "Project 68". I plan to sandblast some more parts which include the cross braces for the bed and get a coat of POR-15 on those and finish up the other tub and work on the gate some more. Seeing it is going to be warm tomorrow I can shoot some primer on the bedsides also
