I've allways loved 58 Chevys. Allmost looks like the Graffiti car but with Cragars and side pipes. Needed Caddy tail lights.

These vintage pic threads are great, reminding us when things were great and remembering things you had totally forgotten, younger days, etc.

Found in my dad's pictures. He bought a new 72' C10 at S & J Chevrolet, Cerritos, Ca. Second one was for a Chevrolet TV commercial in Mojave Desert, I remember him telling me they drove in the shape of a bowtie across the flats. The third was in 74' heading to LA on 395, it was dark and they hit two black angus cows. First one was dead and the second one got up and ran away. Had to be towed to Lone Pine, Ca.

Wow,this thread sure has drifted from 67-72 GM Trucks. How about a '55 Chevy 210 Wagon? Nothing special. I bought it when I met the gal I married who had two kids. It was out in a field with no motor,in flat black,with the side windows painted. I took the 350/TH350,console/shifter,seats,and wheels from a wrecked '75 Monte Carlo,did some body work,and slapped a root beer metallic paint job on it. It was green and I wanted to find the trim and paint it back to original,but ended up selling it.

Had a new radiator, fan and misc. put in at dealer there and drove back to Reno the next week and had a body shop repair it. He sold it when he bought a new 76' K10 I currently have. I'd like to see that commercial too.

Mount St. Helens is an active stratovolcano located in Skamania County, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is 96 miles (154 km) south of Seattle, Washington and 50 miles (80 km) northeast of Portland, Oregon. Mount St. Helens takes its English name from the British diplomat Lord St Helens, a friend of explorer George Vancouver who made a survey of the area in the late 18th century.[1] The volcano is located in the Cascade Range and is part of the Cascade Volcanic Arc, a segment of the Pacific Ring of Fire that includes over 160 active volcanoes. Mount St. Helens is most notorious for its catastrophic eruption on May 18, 1980, at 8:32 am PDT,[2] the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States. Fifty-seven people were killed; 250 homes, 47 bridges, 15 miles (24 km) of railways, and 185 miles (298 km) of highway were destroyed. A massive debris avalanche triggered by an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, caused an eruption, reducing the elevation of the mountain's summit from 9,677 ft (2,950 m) to 8,365 ft (2,550 m) and replacing it with a 1 mile (1.6 km) wide horseshoe-shaped crater.[3] The debris avalanche was up to 0.7 cubic miles (2.9 km3) in volume. The Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument was created to preserve the volcano and allow for its aftermath to be scientifically studied.

As with most other volcanoes in the Cascade Range, Mount St. Helens is a large eruptive cone consisting of lava rock interlayered with ash, pumice, and other deposits. The mountain includes layers of basalt and andesite through which several domes of dacite lava have erupted. The largest of the dacite domes formed the previous summit, and off its northern flank sat the smaller Goat Rocks dome. Both were destroyed in the 1980 eruption.

Heres a pic from the mid 70's I wana say 76ish my dad used to back up the ol 73 or 74 crew cab chevy up to a ditch and drive the Willys Jeep we had at the time up into the bed of the truck yup it fit between the bedsides of the the chevy truck and away the family would go deer hunting
