after I got the engine to fire up since it last ran in 1975, I found out that it was a fresh rebuilt motor and was parked after the drivers side got hit:

Re: Birth of a C10

Wow you have been busy !!
Guess the new job and living in the camper has really paid off for you !!

The Brothers Sedan is going to be too cool, I really like the Plymouth too, but my first thought on it was "Too bad that doesnt have suicide doors..."

Looks like your door repair on it tuned out awesome though !

Rock on dude

Re: Birth of a C10

Good to see you posting! Sucks that it happened, but nice job on the truck's rear fender repair. I dig the Plymouth as well, which looks to be coming along nicely. I know the Dodge will no doubt be sweet too once you put your touches on it.

I checked in on your build the other day just see if you posted anything. Glad to see you posting things up. You always seem to do quality work. The compressor is really kool. I bet it works like a charm. Thanks for keeping us updated.! I'll check in on the Plymouth too.

Hey murph i guess i didnt mention that we ended up moving into a house.. renting at the moment , but still planning on buying ..we did save up money in the bank tho ....the rental once again doesn't have a garage but they allowed us to have our animals and let me park 6 of the 8 vehicals we own on the property so that was a selling point we have my brother inlaw living with us and splitting the rent so the wifes and i part is around $550 for rent so were still able to save quite a bit , brother inlaws lease was up and even tho we enjoyed the trailer , house living is more spacious and its helping her brother out also ,you can hardly even rent a 1 bed apt in the bad areas for under $650 a month so it was a win win for both us and her brother on a quite street in working class area....and by the end of the year or beginning of next i hope to be switching my line of work and working for pacific gas and electric company (PG&E) with beenys and retirement and the works, my friend in the union is trying to get me in i already passed all my per-employment tests and after august should be getting sent to the training facility.

thanks rusty for keeping a eye on my thread! I tend to always be busy working or working on my other projects so if im not posting on here im usually posting on other forums that pertain to the car im working on at that time. And the on board air is like night and day compared to the electric air compressors fills the tank up fast and im not watching my amp gauge needle dropping everytime those electric compressors would kick on...very happy with the york so far!

Ya woodland no longer lets the cruise night happen ,My buddy roger from socal speed shop(Woodland native) in sacramento puts on the preshow.... last year for the preshow party downtown they blocked of a couple side streets by the bars for us to park and hang out , this year they actually let us block of a section of main street right in front of the "stag" from 6:30 to 9:00 so it was a pretty big deal for us and as long as everyone that attends keeps it cool every year may get bigger and who knows may actually be able to put a cruise on also , but at the moment the understanding is that "Cruise" in the city of woodland is not a great topic yet...I think everyone is just happy so far that "midnight mass" show was actually in the same spot 2 years in a row and that woodland is welcoming us back so far...
