Re: CRGRS 66 – Winter Build Thread

Camping in upstate NY earlier in the month, picked up some goods @ D-S Auto, Alan Groves Alternator bracket, 3 groove crank pulley, power steering pulley, oil filter adapter and filter. Accessory drive mocked up, just need to dismantle and paint a few items, reassemble, then time to put the engine back in. Also recently purchased an American Auto Wire classic update harness, and a laundry list of other bits and pieces. Should be able to devote some time to the truck starting in a couple of weeks

Craig, new parts are always fun. It'll be nice to see you back at it.

Where did you camp, Finger Lakes area?

Great purchase on the Alan Grove parts. I have their stuff on my truck and it works perfectly and lasts indefinitely. Good luck!

Letchworth State Park, B E A utifal park, they call themselves the Grand Canyon of the east, but it is a Gorge similar to the Niagara Gorge with the Genesee river running through it... and yes, it is in the finger lakes area

Wish I had gone with alan groves on the power steering pump bracket, the one I go is okay, but I had to shim it out to align it with the crank pulley.

Re: CRGRS 66 – Winter Build Thread

I have been making small bits of progress here and there, and have run into an issue with my clutch linkage. I poached these pictures form McMurphy`s thread. I believe I am having the same issue. Stud threads into the boss nicely, but the linkage was nearly impossible to install, and just does not look right. Engine is a basic 350 crate engine. I don`t have any fab skills, hoping Mike reads this and kept the dimensions for his little bracket...

Fuel line from pump to carb (stainless tube) done... well almost done, just waiting for the fuel filter to arrive, it will go inline right in front of the carb

Thanks guys, did I put the brake hardware back together correctly?
We do some pretty intricate tube bending for some OEM customers, I will post some pictures.
