Re: 67c10 build
Yup that's it. I really like it and not a real common scheme. I was thinking same as that with a white grille and tailgate lettering. We'll see though I change my mind to often

Re: 67c10 build
I've thought about maybe going with this color. I see so many variations and horror stories from cross referencing medium olive. I think the Kia color is closs enough to the factory that if I didn't tell anyone then no one would know

So that green color...does anybody know what color that is exactly. It that really a factory color? I've always had two color options in my head for my truck; gold/white below trim or a green similar to this with the white below the trim. |

Re: 67c10 build
Maybe it's just me, or my screen, but that Kia looks like it needs a little more green... I bet you're right that most people wouldn't know, especially if it wasn't sitting next to a factory color. It would look good though, as does that truck. Nice inspiration.

Re: 67c10 build
Yeah hector something similar to that .
Did a little work tonight, got my c10 emblem on and put the trim back on. Man I can't wAit to drive this thing. I love these trucks more and more each day. The styling team for these trucks were true artist. Nothing new really in the pic just the emblem but I know how people like pictures around here |

Looking good, I know you were probably excited as I was to put the emblem and trim on. Just makes the truck look that much better.

Re: 67c10 build
Right on, yeah same number here. I've been meaning to check in with you and see how the motors going.
Got the hood on last night what a pita. It's no where near perfect but close enough to roll to a body shop. Spent a little bit mocking up trim so I can start drilling holes. The whole time I was worried about push in clips but this whole kit comes with the stud type and nut which will make things a breeze. Anyone consider mar-k I say go for it. These are made in the USA and are flawless.

Re: 67c10 build
Imagine somebody asking you "what do you do for a living?" "Well I stamp and produce trim for 67-72 c10's..." Man truck looks good can't wait to see it out of the paint shop!

Re: 67c10 build
Seeing more and more of these in different lighting lately I have to agree. I'm thinking of getting a pint of the original 504 color and seeing how I like it

Re: 67c10 build
Got a little sidetracked this week... Put a few bucks in the dmax with her new cab lights. Nothing like taking a step bit to the roof of your new pickup. New or old gm is the only way to go!

Re: 67c10 build
Thanks Keith it's my second duramax and can't see buying anything but anymore.
Spent the day getting a few odds and ends done. Started putting the front end trim on and got carried away it's complete minus headlights. I know this the hood and fender trim is 68 only but I really like it and plan on going with a white grill. Also got all the driver side trim on. Hope to work on the bed tomorrow, need to square it up and would like to get a working tailgate. A question for you guys... Typically does a wood bed get sprayed with the tubs installed?
