Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
I can fully agree with Mike I'm a bit concerned on bags if they lessen handling I myself am strictly a DD but I like to play around a bit and yes a wheel bigger than my 15's would certainly help and with my job description being a CNC wheel maker I think I can make that happen fairly easy with a few "benjamin's" help. she does ride better lately just struggles a little with a full cab guess that means i need to drop some weight myself haha. I'm sticking with springs for now saving for McGaughy's stock springs these v-6 ones are just too soft

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Sadly, I have to say: No updates. I'm just driving it everyday and lovin' it!!!
It is my only vehicle now, so I really can't tear back into it and make improvements. I've been tracking down little rattles or minor niggles as they come up, but nothing worth reporting. I'm also busy opening my 2nd and 3rd Sportclips Haircuts locations and am swamped with that. I'll have to do something big soon though, don't want that 67cheby guy taking my number one spot!

A few of my youth friends going to get ice cream! Seating for 8.
75 of Andrew's class at senior breakfast. Andrew's vaulted bedroom with "extra" sleeping arrangements. Up to 15 hammocks.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Sleep walking would be a little painful!
We have a ladder in his closet for old farts like me, but all the young kids have a special technique to get in, I'll have to take some photos to help explain.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
I love your truck! It took me almost a week to read your build. I have wanted to build a 69 for a long time but now I want it to be a 4 door crew cab. I also want 4WD and a diesel for over the top power and fuel economy. My 2012 1 ton Chevy work truck has the 6.0L in it. It has ok power and gets 10 mpg. I want to find a cheaper 2500 or 3500 4wd truck with a Duramax and do just like you did and put the older 69 cab and bed on the modern chassis. Now to gather parts! Oh yea I also want to do mine as a to be a little different!
