Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Great perspective, hornet..........
We, as owners, try to make sure that any work that we do (or have done to) our trucks is permanent......repaired correctly, to stand the test of time. Since I've been told "ya can't take it with you"......I suppose we are just "stewards" or caretakers. The folks who own these in the future that will appreciate the quality work as much as we do. I'm pretty dang grateful that my trucks P.O. took care of it like he did.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
A.T. Rockdriller I agree with you 100%. I just wish people I take my trucks to for work I am unable to perform. Or don't feel 100% confident, I can do a 100% satisfactory job would simply take the exact same PRIDE about thier craftmanship. I am sick of this one local guy and I am about to pull the plug on a job he has been doing for me.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Both actually, When I bought the truck the NC sun baked the clearcoat and it was peeling bad. We sanded the entire truck and then primed certain areas with red oxide primer. After that was done we scuffed the entire truck again with scotchbrite pads. Check my other thread, Going to be lowered Monday

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
This has been my computer's desktop wallpaper for close to a year now.
It keeps me motivated as what I would of liked my 65 to eventually look like.
