Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Its original..... (except for the big block that was never put in a 67-72 4X4). Looks like a real nice truck but not $80,000 nice to me.

Anyone click on this ad from the last page? It’s just down the road from me-
I have no idea what the ad writer was smoking. Well, maybe I have a guess. Almost $15k asking for it? Race truck? D-stroke 327???

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I wondered about that. I told someone once the engine in a vehicle I had was a 283 with a stroker crank— kinda was. Didn’t feel the need to continue that it was a 307.
Except “destroked” instead of “D-stroke” but I still ain’t dropping 15k on that “race truck” wannabe. I’d buy it and drive it while smiling, but wrong price.

Highlander package is 1972 only, must have had a seat from a 72 Highlander added at some point.

That’s a fun thread too. Oddly, the green and orange sound better to me than blue and orange. Green and orange are so 70s

Wow, 18K mi and it looks it. No, I probably wouldn't pay that price for a 70 K20 stepper on an average day - but a zero rust one with 18k mi? Hmmm... I'd say he's not "too" far off. Final negotiated price might be a little more in the ball park, who know - seller does state 'or best reasonable offer'. Great find.

I have a general question about that truck. It has c20 fender emblems, shouldn't it have k20 fender emblems? But I noticed that it also has a "4wheel drive" emblem on the front of the fender. Was this a 4wd conversion?
