Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Supposed to be some kind of "wax" that you can put on them after polishing. Saw it at the parts store but haven't used it.

Did that about a year ago on the 08 Duramax. All that miracle in a box stuff doesn't work the only way is to sand em down and bring them back out to polish

Deer ran into me I stopped for the first two and the third slammed into the side of my truck . Dent was there from some jackass baked into me at the store . Got the money but not fixing it .

I sand with 1500 paper and then paint them with this . The Toyota is going on three years now no fogging.

My Cocaine dealer dropped this off today. I don't have a drug problem. I don't care what they say.

It's actually gravel for around the pool. It might as well be Cocaine for what they charge for it these days.

I just had 16 ton of 1" down road rock delivered and spread on my secondary driveway. I think the wife said it was $450.00. That was for the rock, delivery, and spreading.

That's a deal. That pure white gravel was way more. It's pricy but I'm only putting it around the pool. Everything around the pool is going to be sky blue and white. Wish me luck trying to keep it all clean.

Thanks. The boss is happy.that's good enough for me. The post toppers do have lights and they're solar powered. We're sitting here waiting for dark to see if they come on?I'm sure they will.it was sad to go see Bob in October thinking we would never see him again but he's hanging on so we'll go again, ice cream won't hurt either.take care.Greg

Thanks,I appreciate that.Bob and his wife would do it for us if the shoe were on the other foot.in fact they drove here from Ohio years ago when my wife and I were married. That meant alot to us.it's the least we can do.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I found my clothes!!! They were packed way back in my barn. I was getting tired of the Salvation Army look with just a couple of T shirts and jeans in my suitcase. I hate moving and remodeling. I miss having furniture. My desk is two cardboard boxes and a folding patio chair.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Went to a car show with some friends this morning and there were some nice 67-72 chevy trucks. There was one in particular that I really like. I've seen it 3 times so today I took a picture. Its the 4x4.

Nice to build your own, and get things like that 30-ft deep garage. 20-ft might be a good standard for economic reasons considering most people just park in there. Personally I’d give up a ton of bedroom and living room space (they often throw in useless space there like a “sitting room”) in exchange for more garage space and storage space if I was to build a custom.

As soon as we get the house enclosed, we'll start our shop, 50' by 100'. We'll divide it 40' and 60'. Shop will be 40' and 60' for the old cars to park in. Right now we have a 40' by 50' shop and a 50' by 50' garage for the cars.

You got some cool stuff in there. I'm digging the '58. My dad had a copper & cream '56 when he was in high school and his friend had a black '58 Convertible. They kept the girls AND the deer running at night!

I like '58's best of the '55-'58 years. Maybe it's from watching American Graffiti, but I just think it's a prettier car.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Yesterday I moved a short wall over in my shed where we have a stand up freezer ,, getting a new one this comin Sunday and its wider.

As for the nice cars AllChevy 58 has ,,and they are really nice

the 58 reminded me of when I was staying with my SIS in Possum Grape Arkansas and my BIL sent me to Newport Ar to buy and anttena and speaker for the radio the 58 Biscayne he had in it ,,and install them,,, it was a used cop car and not sure what motor was in it ,, but to me it had a lot of horse power ,,and I did get on it a bit going and coming .. this was 1962
