Lisa's '65 looks wonderful.....
Quality chrome shows.....you can sure tell when it's done right. But, really....the whole truck looks great. Nice job, Hoser.

Our 64 short box. We bought it this way about 1 1/2 years ago. Getting ready to install 2 1/2" drop spindles and disc brakes.

That truck is absolutely gorgeous! Leaving the wheels or putting on different wheels when you drop it?

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I'm definately keeping the 6 lug configuration. I want to use the 73-87 Rally wheels but my wife likes the wheels that are on it now. She's actually using the truck as a daily driver since she totaled her car. I cringe now every time it leaves the garage just hoping it comes back in the same condition it left in.

Damn Terry. Your '64 looks amazing. You truly are modest. I have a lot of catching up to do if we ever plan on parking them together somewhere local.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Thanks for the kind words everyone but again I can't take credit for anything you can see. It was all done by the previous owner. everything I've done to the truck you can't see. I've added power brakes and dual master and am currently working on getting a disc brake front suspension from an 85 C-10 together for it, I also picked up a tilt column (eBay) from a 72 van but I need to move the neutral safety switch down the column to make it work correctly.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Hmm...your profile says you live in Visalia? By any chance do you know Carl and Brenda Tuttle? This is probably a pointless question, but just curious.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I think if you search the threads you'll see that it's been done so you can get more than enough info about the bed/frame shortning operation.
