All kidding aside that is a nice touch.
Yeah, thanks. I wanted to give that side of the barn an alpine cottage vibe. There are huge fir trees looming above. It would be a nice place to sit, and I do for a short while, if my neighbor's house wasn't right behind there. I can find times when they won't be coming outside

nothing unmanly about hobbies or doing artwork. It's a shame to see a corporate hobby supply out buying up our truck parts to sell for uses other than bolting on a truck.

I've been taking pictures of old barns lately. There are hundreds if not thousands around here. This is a neat little one I got yesterday on my drive between two produce markets. It's nice to buy groceries, at least some, off the farm

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Very cool all the same. We had the smoke earlier, late spring/early summer, but I haven't been noticing it any at all since. And today will be cooler due to a high sunk down from that very area. I didn't realize the wind would blow south and west into Oregon. Seems odd to me, but apparently very normal I see

Took this pic yesterday of the thermometer on our back deck. In the shade, west side of the house. Not too much ice left on the north side of the house now.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Same here in southern MI. Haven't hit 90 since July 5th. Keep hearing about how hot this summer has been all over the world but us Michiganders haven't had that type of summer. Lake Michigan most likely won't be warm enough for most people to want to swim in this year. It's cold!

Supposed to hit 90 here Thursday then back to the 70's.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Mmmm 1964 reasonably price all original . Guy bought it in Texas and has had it here for 3 years . 259 v8 3spd with overdrive , Studebaker was using international fleet side beds at the time only thing I didn’t like it’s much wider than the cab and looks “off” I prefer the stepside beds

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

At first glance I knew it was a super beetle body, but on a model A frame with duece grille. But he cut off the front clip and used it on the rear. No doubt lots of work but that turned out to be alright.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Saved a couple of bucks today. My timing light quit yesterday. Bought it off the tool truck in 1986. It was not cheap back then. Figured what the heck, so today I took it apart. The thin uninsulated wire had broken just outside of the handle. Lost about 4" off the pick up cord, but it was an easy fix. Ready for another 37 yrs of service!

Probably could modify a bicycle rack for it.

Here's an interesting unit, wooden handle. If it's for pushing snow maybe they put chains on the tires. Maybe the engine is just for weight. I can't imagine that thing getting much traction. Very cute, though

yes sir, cute but as you say,if it was built for pushing snow,it wouldn't push much?
