Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I hear ya. My girlfriend's dad has a '65 long fleetside that I'm gonna end up with down the road, but it definitely needs some TLC. It's got some rust, but I think she's worth it. It's a '65 long fleetside 1/2-ton 2WD with the factory 292 straight six. Original trans was a 3 on the tree but it went out and he put a buick 3-speed stick in it lol. It's not the greatest looking truck in the world, but it's one I plan on owning and fixing up.

62 - how is it running no inner fenders? I've ment to ask others that same question before. Mine are so messed up I'd like be rid of them but cant afford replacements yet.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I did most of the work on this in the late 1980's. Those mirrors were popular then. I'm not excited about replacing them with OEM mirrors so I'm looking for suggestions. I want to go with a 60's custom style for the truck when I make updates next year. The truck has been garaged since 1991. I'll have the time and money to get it back on the road next year, God willing.
Does anyone reproduce stainless windshield trim for 60-63 trucks? Any opinion on bumper guards for my truck? The billet dash and steering wheel will be replaced. I'd love to get one of those 1960's Chrysler Imperial square-type steering wheels but they're expensive. Daryl |
