Late last night. Had a few mods to do, and just had time to wire up one headlight. Will be finishing the rest over the next week. Let me just tell you....this truck has CRAZY torque! Wow! I mean every gear was just pulllllll....pulllll....pulllll. LOL

Just finished up reading through your build thread. Awesome job on the motor/tranny swap, it sounds awesome. Also love the changeover to the 67-68 front end with the cowl hood. Can't wait to see what you do next.

It has come to a dead stop because I have to pay $530 for a set of Doug Thorley headers because they are the only ones that will clear the CPP engine perches and I can't afford them atm so my build is on hold.

Have you considered the BBk headers? They look to be about the same dimensions as the DT headers...

Assuming you can put the power to the ground
You will need as wide of a rim and street slick as you can fit on it.
Also a hot cam (LS3) and a small shot of nitrous wouldn't hurt either.

Great videos.
Please tell me you are going to install a 67-68 core support.
You gotta get those headlights back in position.
They detract from all the hard work you have done.
( my opinion)

Re: Dirty Dianah (No)... Bagged 72 Stepside/LSx/T56

I will be putting them in position for sure Lolife. Thanks!

Besides that, LSD, 10" rear wheels and tires among other things. This is just me having fun. It's not done, but I'm having fun driving it
