Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
No job = no project funds....gotta get the longbed finished and most likely will have to sell that unless I get a job I'm looking at and hit bonus at year end...

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Ron, I was seriously considering this Blazer, so I'm glad you bought it before I did. The wife wouldn't have been happy.
Have a safe trip and just drop off the Blazer on your way by my house... (South of Kingdom City, MO I-70)

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I've had a few offers to take her off my hands but that won't be until they hold my estate sale. (And I plan to stick around for a little while yet.)

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I also called on it Ron - was waiting on pix from the seller when you snatched it up. I can't buy most stuff unless I can see what it is - which can be good and bad in the same breath.
I was disappointed when I called the guy back about the pix the next day and he said 'some guy in TN bought it' - I was like............what? Damn - another one missed. I figured that was life/karma and then tracked down the buyer and found it to be Ron. I sent him a PM to say congrats on the purchase when I found out it was a board member - figured I would rather see it go to one of the 'family'. Safe travels out to get it and back! |

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
No harm - no foul Ron - Glad to see that somebody got it that I 'knew' and I can watch it get rebuilt.
There are bigger things to worry about in life. Was I was disappointed - yes - but that just means that there is another one out there waiting for me to find it - or for it to find me... There is little stress in my life and I like to keep it that way...working on these trucks is a stress relief for me. |
