Re: Topless Thread
I have had the top off since early May. I just keep trash bags in the glovebox. I have been working on it alot to keep it road ready. My wife and use it all the time and go out to dinner or cruise around town! I installed a GM Wood wheel on it, great for driving. I even got a thumbs up from a gal on a Harley.

Re: Topless Thread
They do look great with the top off. I'd rather turn on my AC though
I really don't care much for high back buckets when the tops are off though. They look fine until the roof comes off, then it looks,,,well,,,I'll just say strange Good looking truck though. The wood wheel is a nice touch. I never liked the factory "LARGE" wheels these things come with,,,it's like driving a bus. I switched mine over to a factory wheel 3 spoke wheel with comfort grip. |

Re: Topless Thread
I like the lowback seats also but can't find a pair that are not worn out and they are asking $500 or better. I am sure they are worth it, but it is not in the budget!

Re: Topless Thread
I can understand that. Not to mention, alot of those aftermarket high backs are made pretty darn comfy Kinda hard to resist.

Re: Topless Thread
The set in my blazer came out of an early 90's Chevy truck, without headrests.

Re: Topless Thread
That thing is awesome Burt4x4...is the cage mounted to the frame? I noticed a ton of flex with mine on jack stands to where the doors don't want to open or close unless I put a jack under the door...just wondering how bad it is on the rocks.

Re: Topless Thread
Thanks Fellas!!
No, I don't have the cage tied to the frame. I did not want to. My buddy did it too his K5 and it made his REALLY stiff, just about Zero frame flex. Some say too much frame flex premotes cracks and such...Well I love all my flexy flex and haven't found a crack yet, 17yrs of wheeling. Ya, sometimes I can't open my door if I stop off camber..no biggy I just jump out My rig is far from straight anyway..
