Another thing on the Honda seals, the chrome weatherstrip guard fits great

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
We just got back from the C10 Nationals - what a great show. Had a great time, tons (1400!) of trucks there, in varying states of condition and setup, all original, slammed, lifted, heavily modified, it was great! BFG was doing a "Share the Ride" program where you got to do the autocross in a truck set up for it. Got to ride in one of the LT4 / Tremec 6 speed trucks, and man that was a rush and a blast. What a great time!

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Looked like a great show! It's always amazing to me just how many trucks show up to some of these shows and the vast majority of them I've never seen or the owners are not members here.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Hey Kyle, wish I knew you went - I was there also. Had a great time, enjoyed all the awesome trucks for sure. By chance did you post on FB looking for an "in-truck" video from a ride along? I had one of the guys that went with me post up his video under your request. If it was you, take a look. I also think after that trip, my truck may not come out of hiding for a while . I am 99% certain I am going to be ordering a new chassis in the next month or so . . . I'll keep you posted-

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Not much to update on, just working on this door still, lots of modification on this door bottom has been needed. Had a bunch of stuff come up this past month or so, so haven't made a ton of progress. Hoping to really put some hours on it soon.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Door panels came back from Lee's Upholstery in Newport News VA the other day and all I can say is wow! These came out greater than I was hoping. Double row stitch, and the material has foaming behind it, allowing it to sit proud. Im not a upholstery guy so I know no shiny words to explain this
and a note - there is no stain on the material, its from soap/water to install.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
I am also contemplating doing the 55-59 arm rest, and dying it/painting it to match the door panel. Not too sure yet, but from what Ive seen it looks pretty nice.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Underhood details.. cross support to keep the hood from oil canning down the road. Came out pretty well I would say, used the 1/4 crater maker from HammerFab to dress up the mounting tabs.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
That's a great idea. These hoods are pretty flexy.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Appreciate it. This hood would dance around like someone was tap dancing on it lol. Much stiffer now, I have added all the padding back to it and its rather solid. It does have a dip in the center from the years of it oil canning. Hoping to have a PDR guy possibly fix it one day.
Thank you! I am very pleased

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Trying to decide... ordered these 55-59 arm rests (beige) and have these 67 arm rests (black) and I'm not sure which I want to order. I like the novelty of the 67 only arm rest, but also the sleek look of the 55-59s, both obviously needed dyed/painted.. if anyone's got an opinion let me know!

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Imperial Shift Knobs also made this really B-A shift knob for me, really wanted a cool retro "bowling ball" style knob (yes I know its an auto) and it came out really well.

Shift knob looks great as for the arm rest I'd go with the 55-59

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
I like the 55-59 arm rests with the metal trim band. It looks like it belongs on the door with the other chrome/aluminum pieces.

Stuck the bench seat in the truck. Sure do love a color-keyed interior

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Did some forced aging to my rocker on the driver side finally, did a couple layers of oxide primer, then a brown, and blotched on some black and random stuff, finished with the 503 and hit with some 320 grit to really cut it down. Also should be noted that when I did the top coat, I used a sponge to give texture to it so when I sand I would have areas breaking through faster.
