Some Youtube'age. But, .. she's sold.

(the ticking when he starts it is not there in person, the sound is a bit off.. ) Not sure what the ticking is, but's not a lifter like it sounds. .. and the exhaust sounds much better standing beside it.

She's on her way to TX on Thursday.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Here's a few of mine... The first is the most recent, after a lot of my changes. Haven't taken many photos of the whole truck since I've finished what I've done so far. 3.5/5 drop on 22x9.5, 265/35/22

JUST 2 in drop spindles in front and 4 in drop springs in rear? 4 in drop leaf springs? Did you have to notch the frame to avoid hitting it? I have. A 71 c10 with rear leafs and trying figure a good way to bring it down.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

my 69 c20 unfortunately has heated coils all the way around sitting on bump stops. going to go with a 4/5 or 3/5 drop from cpp hopefully soon not sure yet on what amount I want to drop because I don't want to notch it and drop spindles aren't in the budget at the moment. I love the stance it has now but its rubbing on the UCA's on the front end.

Sorry just realized this is for c10s. its been a long day forgive me. I hope its ok becoase there's not any c20 threads like this.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

For more than 4 in the back I would suggest notches. and you will also need an adj trac bar for 4 or more in the rear.

And your C20 is welcome here. I like the way it looks, kinda sux that all the springs are heated though.

I can't wait 'til this server change is done. These pics are ridiculously small now. Nice looking truck kerrdog. Wish it was a larger pic though.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Thanks for the compliment!

Only suspension work done is 3" CPP springs in front and 5" Cpp sprinsg in the back. It's a 72 so it has factory discs in front. Factory spindles and shocks. The ride is nearly stock if not marginally a tad stiffer. Much better in turns and no more leaning. I ordered from Summit and paid around 200 for F and R.

A good tire size helps to fill the fender gap. Im running 205/70/15 front and 275/60/15 rear.
