Re: Truckseats Photobook

I am sorry for the misunderstanding--this wasn't meant to be a complaint, but rather to explain my seat restoration and how my seat came to be covered with the Truck World seatcover with GMC Paul seat buns--both are fantastic. I would have ordered it all from Truck Seats but the lack of response did not make that possible, that's all.

No complaint, simply what happened--nothing more.

BTW--thanks for all the PM's regarding the truck, I appreciate it.

I do certainly understand your frustration with your order and do apologize for your inconvenience. I have stated many times that I do not personally build these seat covers and do certainly at times share your frustration in the time that it takes to receive them. That is something that is out of my hands. I can say they are getting much more efficient at Truckworld. Larry and I build many stock and custom seat covers together and do all we can to make our customers happy while delivering a superior product. As far as communication on the foam goes, that is on me and you have my apology for our lack of communication. I am very glad Paul was able to handle your order in a timely manor for you. I still work full time as a Union Pipefitter at a nuclear facility and do my best to respond to everybody in a timely manor. Thank you for your feedback and if we can make it right in the future don't hesitate to give us a shot.

Right on, and no problem. You can bet you'll be the only one I order my other two seat covers from. We'll just line up the foam order at the same time and get it all done at once!

It is a Saddle Super Bench or better known as the "Nacho Seat" around here. It is saddle houndstooth with a saddle vinyl border.

Thanks for your patience. I have been on vacation.

Check with SMS Fabrics. If they have the material we can get it built for you.

Re: Truckseats Photobook

Truckseats did my Buddy Buckets for me and I couldn't be more proud of the quality and service that I received from them. I wanted to do them in two tone and had to match the existing two tone green that is in my truck. Green can be a hard color to get to match, so I got some samples from my local fabric store and found some that would work. I told truckseats how I wanted to do the seats and he told me how many yards of each color to buy. I sent him the material and he sent back the finished covers. I had them installed by a professional and they are Awesome!!! The bottom corners of the seat backs may not look perfect because they both fold forward and there has to be some slack in the cover for them to do so. I had a headliner, door panels and door bottom cover made that I have yet to install.
You can see the seat covers after they stitched them up on page 4, thread #29 of this forum

Thank you so much for your comments. It was a long process as these things can be but worth it as we see the pictures. Look forward to more! Thanks again.

Thanks! I've got some pics here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=597433 . The Blazer was in WAY better shape than the K20. It needed just some cosmetics, an OEM aux battery set-up, and soon a swap for 4.11 gears - if I can get it and the K20 up to Montana. Hoping the transporter comes before the snow. Best, Pete

Re: Truckseats Photobook

Still cant make my decision on a seat cover.

Love the black vinal with white/black houndstooth inserts for a 68 bench, but just saw you have black/white highlander plad material and wondering if you have done any of those on a bench with black vinal?
