Re: my build thread
got my lowers drawn, ill work more on the jigs tomorrow... the dimensions in them are modified to fit my application. The ball joints are moved an extra 3/4 of an inch forward to compensate for the fact that my cross member cross shafts are parallel and the factory frames are tapered, this will also keep my knuckes kicked back just a hair, ill also be able to play with that with the placement of my upper mounts. still working on the upsweep and ball joint angles...
just waiting on tubing to bend... going to order it from the same place in a smaller cut length from the same company to try and get it quicker, as the steel shop in town is waiting on a 20 footer.

Re: my build thread
not a whole lot of new news on the truck, got my new mounts in from Energy. Also figured out how to mount the uppers, now ive been working on the tabs to hold them and also make them fully adjustable and also good looking. Steel came in for the lowers and ive got my buddies hydraulic bender in the shop to start on them.
also finished this cart finally

Re: my build thread
Thanks Bomp. Been getting a ton of work done on the truck finally, just not enough time to post, so ill catch everyone up with this one.
Got my passenger side rocker replaced, the drivers will be here this week, I ordered them from Brothers and they fit great. Decided to take out all my body work around the drip rail because it was failing due to poor prep work on my part. Spent a lot of time re welding it all and getting it smooth. I hired a guy to come start smoothing the whole cab out. He has the drip rail, fiber glassed, bondo'd, and spot puttied, and is almost all smoothed out. Also ive got the bottom of the cab coated in chassis saver. As for the fab work, the front of the truck is done. Did a bunch of figuring with the lowers, then machined my ball joint sleeves, and made the jig. The joint sits on a 13* angle, and both arms are built on the same jig, just by moving the locating slug and bolt to a different hole. I need to change the upper mounts just a bit for caster/camber and ball joint accommodation, but overall im very happy with how its coming together. Once the front is done ill get it all up on a frame table and connect it to the rest of the frame

Re: my build thread
Well no updates on this thing. I decided to make some serious life changes and take my career somewhere new where I hope to go further. The truck was un able to make the trip. The frame cab and bed were sold. I decided to keep all my front end stuff and keep my 66 in hopes of bringing it to southern Washington one day to finish it.
