you could also use seat belt latches....
as far as rattles, you could drill the hole over-sized and put a rubber grommet in it to cushion the sliding bar

I'd get the ones from mar-k. So when your haulin a load it can take it. I could see haulin something and the sheet metal screws ripping out.

I do remember seeing the seat belts installed and I really thought that was a slick idea.
