Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10
Well I am waiting to get my truck back from the transmission shop. I decided to go ahead and put a 700r4 in it since I will be driving it everyday. I should have it back first of the week, I can't wait!! I also picked up some c-notchs off craigslist from a local, I got a great deal on them!

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10
Good choice. Did you have them do any upgrades to the 700R4 or is it just standard configuration? |

Love the door logo! Looking good. 700r4 is a good choice....just make sure they get the tv cable adjusted correctly for you.

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10
Thanks I am really happy with how the logo came out. I hope they get the tv cable adjusted correctly, the trans shop I took it to has a great reputation and a great warranty just in case any issues arise!

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10
Yes sir, I talked to Fred yesterday and he has some problems finding a good core. He was telling me there are only a few years of the 700r4s that one would want to use for the swap, because of strength and different valve bodies and stuff. He was building it last night so hopefully it will go in today!
