Ahh the life of the traveling chevyland hat. It's a good luck charm for me
Loaded up this morning to finish/start a junkin adventure with "the hat" in tow

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Haha, we have fun and games This was an absolute last minute decision to finish/start a junkin adventure with my old man. Tought about taking the box truck for a minute, nah get your priorities straight... a trailer will do. Had to stop and take a pic at a roadside cafe Hmmm, the trailer is still empty. More pics to come

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Ok, the eagle has landed. Had a blast road tripping with the old man. Weather was not on our side. Let's say rain, trailers and back country dirt roads don't mix. We tried to go junkin, boy did we try but after 50ft into the mud we knew it was out Really wanted to get a picute of us stuck in the mud with the trailer but at the time it was do or die. My dad wanted to get out and push but I said something along the lines of "hold my beer" and goosed it in reverse to dry pavement. Got the truck my dad bought a few weeks back and made the haul back to Denver. Bonus on the deal was the doors in the bed All this was inspired by Chevylands Adventures. Thanks man, you really lit the spark on these roadtrip adventures:metal

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
I have a question
When I go and look at old GM cars and trucks to purchase, why does the owner always ask. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THE CAR/TRUCK? This question really pisses me off! In my opinion, it is none of this persons business what my plans are for the vehicle or what I do with it once I buy it! His only concern is weather or not the cash/check clears! I would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
I've tried to buy that truck on multiple occasions. Apparently it is not for sale.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Doh! I wasn't paying attention, thought Eric posted the drive-in pics. Thanks for sharing! I wouldn't sell it either if it were in my barn! But you know what they say, everyone has a price.. But I think "they" is wrong.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Im not a RatRod guy either but I do like them . The cool thing to me about them is the guys love to actually drive them . I love my old cars and trucks as Drivers ,dont want a trailer queen at all . Nothing more fun to me than driving a classic car or truck cross country and back .

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Me too. I love hotrods but I'm not a big fan of what most people are calling "rat rods" these days. While I'm not fond of the term I get what the original meaning was. What so many are putting on the vehicles to make theirs unique takes them farther away from the original intent. Chains, spikes and all sorts of outrageous things that would never have been used back in the day in the back yard builds are as common as dirt today. Of course there are no rules to observe when putting one together so anything goes. Freedom of expression at best..
