Re: 1964 Caprick-up = (C10+SWB)*(94 Caprice 9C1+LT1)

Here is a closeup of the fuel neck.

I know I know why not just tub it and bring it all down to the same level.

Well My thought is the tail gate is welded shut so custom recessed areas would be different. Maybe!!!

Also I will use the fiberglass cover!!! Probably going to have it all lined with "White" spray in bed liner..

your build is bad a$$, you just opened my eyes to soo many possiblities for front end hell full roller swap, anyway i noticed you have a chrome trim round your BBW is that a factory piece or just and aftermarket kit. i've seen only one, but when i went to get a further look couldnt find the website.

That was an option that I was offered at Classic Chevy parts in OKC. It is just a chrome plastic covered rubber that spreads the gasket out. The glass guys scuffed it in a few places getting it in and I will rework it later. The glass was very tight because of the BBW kit I didnt want to take to much off and have leaks..

Drove the Caprickup to Sonic yesterday.. Runs and drives great... Just need to get the body work done... I also added the spare tire hole in the rasied bed and finished up the gas neck..

Still slow going, but have been driving around town. Took it over to a friends house a couple of weeks ago. About a 20 mile trip. Purred like a kitten. Stopped by sonic and got a drink. I HATE BODY WORK... I would rather be fabbing up something....

Spare? you would be the hit of the campsite with some ice and a bunch of tall necks in that well!

Well, so far I plan on making it. There is still a small event called OU football, that I have to get out of working. I think I have everything covered but will not know until late Thursday.

Just looked through your build. All I can say is WOW!. You've done an excellent job and defiantly thinking outside the box. Keep up the great work. Those LT1's run great. I love my fuel injection. So worth the work.
