Re: The Snortin' bull
Maintenance is good on these old trucks. What are the details on your headliner? Hard to tell from the pics. It looks like some kind of vinyl/leather material.

Re: The Snortin' bull
The headliner is a kit from LMC.Vinyl upholstered panel .It is a medium weight Fiberboard backed. Good color. Nothing fancy but fit was good and a fair value.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Mounted off to the side .Easy to switch. It's loud enough .The thought is to add a air operated train horn .

Horn looks cool, but I really like your idea of a train horn!

Re: The Snortin' bull
So the old siren just was not loud enough. So I installed a real horn set. These myself and other have used for years on street rod's.They arm from Ford (sorry) superduty trucks, 2000 - 2006 , fiamm hi and low and a bracket and weather pack connection,

Great to see that back there, that's something I'm definitely going to add to mine when I start driving it.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Well most of the bug's are out .Hearing the gear drive and exhaust, air compressors and such is cool some beat's would be good. So still this is a budget build and no polished billet ride. Fabbed up some spacers to fit Stillwater Kicker speaker's on to door rib's.SSL audio deck installed is the start.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Thanks man, it's a neat old truck for sure. I am looking forward to getting it going. I've got a vision for it in my head...I'll be happy if I can execute it half as good as you've done.

Using the radio delete plate. A simple insert to blend the audio deck into the dash.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Installed trique mfg. altman latch kit and massaged a few part's and the striker plate. The door's have become effortless in latching, locking and releasing. One of most rewarding change's I have made.I can shut and latch the door with just a light push..
