Putting the front of the motor back together, permanently! Gotta figure out a PVC system, Ive got the Offy breather mounted, just have to buy a valve and plumb it into the air cleaner. Work on the exhaust to mount up everything, then it's on to carb, distributor, and radiator

Then....

Re: PO has me PO'd

Hey Son, thanks for the comps. Glad your doin' well! Nice pics. Not only are you buried up to the axles, your buried up to the spare Nice pic in your avatar, I remember that day at Rausch...didn't think you'd make it up, that pic doesn't show how really steep it was LOL

Most of the problems are worked out on the engine, just the PCV to go and I think I have that figgered out. Soon the new people will have to put up with noise LOL

Gonna miss ya around the Christmas tree, but my thoughts will always be with you...I Love You, Son. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Proud of you and what you stand for

He!! no, I ain't forgetting 911

Re: PO has me PO'd

Yeah thats what happens when you try to cross amountain pass in June and dont know where the mudholes are under the snow, damn mountain springs lol! Lots of winching and breaking off dead stumps to get out of that one! I remember having a blast at rausch that day with these Blazer boys, lockers and tires do wonders lol

CANT wait to hear that engine come to life, and unlike these guys i KNOW you and why you want the shortblock, more tinkering lol. Love getting to see pics of your work, reminds me of growing up

Gonna miss you guys like crazy on Xmas, you know where my thoughts will be, and as for what i stand for, its what you taught me.....

Hey James, good of you to drop in.

Are you going to be back in the area next year for another Rausch run?

This one shows it a little better, but still not the full inclineThe approach from the left, all the weight shifting to the top outside, locking the front, brakes locked on the rear, with a blip of the throttle to get it pointed north and south again. Seeing nothing but sky, and your cheeks sucked to the seat

Good memories, nothing like drinking beer around the campfire and hanging out with motorheads. Can't deny the white knuckles, tough when you have no control of the situation

Re: PO has me PO'd

Jaros, I saw on another thread where you were looking for a set of valve covers w/ PCV hole, check out post #2 in this thread:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=308546

Can you use those as a pattern? The single hole side was where the PCV was, there was a rubber grommet in place. Let me know if I need to get some measurements, or ship these to you for use as a pattern.

Thanks John, I've been wondering what other people thought about those mirrors, I'm really going for the W/T look...like MSGross's. Don't no what color to paint the grille, since the body color will be flat white, not sure if gloss white will fit

Hey, how'd those little darlings like Christmas...Thanks for subscribing
