Thanks for the replies guys, i have been gone to the farm for a bit harvesting, trying to get the crop off, Took, Mels dad for a ride on sunday, i think he felt 16 again, we had a little fun, can't be a stick in the mud you know, built her to drive. Later guys.

Not yet, but she sure is getting. cold, was down to -1 the other day, so for those on farenheight that is about 31 degrees. brrr. Frost is coming and what not. Thanks alot Richard, one time when you are back in the city let me know, although we may not be able to go for a drive. But i can try.

Well i got about, 500 miles on her now, the transmission whines like crazy in overdrive, go figure, oh well, that is what winter is for, i found a few things that i want to change on the frame, and the rest seems fine, i forgot to tighten a few bolts,, oops, rattle rattle, fall off down the road it goes. LOL. just a few bolts nothing big. Got a new camera a Canon EOS-40D. so went and took a couple pics, here you go, and In the future I would like to do some real photography, so here is the start. Oh and as for the engine runs good, rear happy, believe it or not, but i am knocking out 25.4 mpg, unbelievable i though, but so happy about that. Later guys. Oh and a parting shot for you guys.

a little trick thats been done by raceteams putting together racecars : use a silver (yellow red watever works on the colour bolt and is verry visible) marker and mark every nut and bolt after you tightened it for the last time , it makes it eazier to track down the loose bolts before it becomes a problem
making the line extent to the frame or other solid part allso shows if it moves or loosens itself.

that said i upgraded a frontwheel drive car to a bigger faster etc model once and "forgot" to tighten down the four big bolts of the subframe that held the engine and front suspension to the car itself.

What did you do, hire some tough guy to watch your truck instead of a alarm system??

Great gas milage....were you pushing it??

I saw that when i was taking the pic, thought it was kinda cool, And you bet that "thug" sure would take care of someone if they messed with the truck. Alarm will be soon and the attack dog with the Big thick chain with the name terminator chained to Havoc.

She is still not 100% tuned yet, waiting for full breakin, the gears are 3.73 running a 30.5" tall tire with my overdrive. Thanks, and yah i could hardly believe the mileage. checked it multiple times. That will be a nice engine that you are building.
