Re: My 73 c10 project.....
I have a frame that i want to start bagging, how long is the 2x4 and how are you determining where to put it? i see its angled, is that to the front or the back? i cant really tell from the pics

Re: My 73 c10 project.....
the 2X4 is around 4 feet long and what you want to do is located where the lowest point of the frame is which normally hangs pass the pinch weld the whole purpose is to get rid of the lowest point of the frame so the cab becames the lowest at that point.... just c clamp the 2X4 against the top and it will line up by itself...

Re: My 73 c10 project.....
it looks like is angled because the frame starts going up towards the rear of the cab but is actually against the top of the frame and c clamped to hold it in place so the top of the frame and the 2x4 is welded together....

You're not done yet?? Haha just kidding!!! Making great progress! Hey i've always wondered what do you do with all the brake and fuel lines after the 2x4 has been welded in?

Re: My 73 c10 project.....
i normally just run them along the frame and use metal clips with rubber inserts to hold them in place....
