Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Installed passenger side door seal. And got the passenger fender and door wet sanded and ready for paint.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Thanks guys. I need the encouragement. It takes a lot of motivation to go to the shop in this heat. Especially when you got a million other things to do. I painted the back side of the passenger door this morning. Maybe next week I can paint the other side and fender.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Well I decided to paint yesterday evening. This was my first time to paint in the evening in a while. I forgot how bad the bugs were.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
It turned out pretty good. It laid down real smooth but the bugs decided to go for a swim. Maybe I can buff some of it out.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Bugs in Arkansas??? Say it ain't so... Had my ex's Brother-in-Law visit from Montana back in July 2001, and his statement about Arkansas was "This is Hell with Bugs!"
Lookin' good Brother!

The Bugs didn't look to bad after all. I decided to mount the door and fender tonight after work.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Thanks Don! I am wanting to get as much done in the next few weeks for an upcoming car show at Imboden. It is the local county fair and we usually have around 120 to 150 cars. I was thinking I might have it done but time just slips away from me. So now the plans are to enter it in the project class. My wife will take the camaro.
