i say leave it for now, the patina on it matchs really well! i'm planning on doing the same with my grille, but mine will be painted! good to see you back to work on the truck!!

Nice job on the grille. I would vote to leave it as-is too, but I think it would need/be better with a nicely patina'd white bumper. Sounds like your set on chrome though, which will no doubt be nice as well.

I could go either way with the chromed or not grill frame.
The Chevrolet emblem though, I most certainly would not chrome. I would either leave it in a state of patina, or it would get some form of tie-in paint; depending upon the plans for the rest of the truck. Either way, looks like you are on the road to a Win-Win !! Great work, and I was wondering when she was going to be in a photo again
