Re: 61K10 build
Hey Kimble... What's it feel like to be a hood / fender from being 99% complete?
Looks good! And you'll get a lot of well earned compliments too!

Re: 61K10 build
Mitch--the tk has some waves in the bodywork and i should of spent more time on stuff. I can live with it though. trust me on this, get a 3' sanding board and take your time. as Jim say's (Hugger) it's called bodywork for a reason.
I shot my new air cleaner with bed liner. looks much better. will see my seat guy Friday!!! if you don't here from me I might got a little carried away lol!

need to pull my fender off so i can adj my door for body lines with cowl corner cap.

Re: 61K10 build
you guy's just get up to early---nothing special about the seat. It's hard to tell in the pic's but it''s darker than the interior gray paint, just enough to offset the colors.
question for you guy's--should i paint the inset in the doors (where the handles and arm rest are) the same as the dark paint on the dash? will need to slide seat forward to in stall my seat belts. as far as s/belts go can you install the 3-point ones with the gas tank filler installed? 1963c-10--my back of the cab was pretty bad after blasting. with the bed liner it should out last me lol. the long awaited seat pic's (he gave $40 off for taking so long)

Re: 61K10 build
Seat looks great. I'm no help on the 3 point belts...but there are a couple of good threads on them if you do a forum search. I think the door inserts done the same as the glovebox would look great!!!!
The back of my cab was nice condition wise....just can't ever get in there to wash it. Figured this would eliminate all maintenance on the back of the cab and forward bed panel.

Re: 61K10 build
Nice! I like it. Did you put the old burlap feed bag back under the foam?

Re: 61K10 build
Did a little more--put the p/s fender on (the one that doesn't fit well) yes they are after-market. the driver's side fit like a glove, p/s i had to cut the rear attachment and weld it back together, and it still doesn't fit great. there are two different brands. I have 4 org to fix if i want (patch panels) I think I'm done for awhile lol! have to round up some guy's to put hood on OR?

Re: 61K10 build
I've put a hood back on by myself more than once before. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you dont want to scratch the shiny new paint!

Re: 61K10 build
Jason--I have done a few over the years but this one is heavy and awkward. you can't get a hold of it.
took my rear bumper off to finish welding and clean up. I added a receiver tube for a drop down. if i ever decide to tow something heavy it's long enough to tie it to the frame x member. and of course my BULL horn. you need a horn it's the law lol! train horns are to $$$ won't let me up-load pics

Re: 61K10 build
Your truck is looking real nice and I really like the color combination. Where did you get the carpet?
