Re: 68 S/C update.....

NICE!
Vintec Dish with a knock-off.
(I was going to guess Coys).
Much better choice than the Coys.
What's the specs on the wheels and tires?

Yes it does! You have made some really nice upgrades to this bad boy. Kinda makes me think that maybe I should have snapped it up for myself.....

The wheels are great on there, I am actually looking at the Bonneville-G for my 71 project.

I thought about those, but didn't think I would like them in a couple of years. Sooooooo, I went the "safe" route, .

Rob... I didn't get home last night until late, and it slipped my mind to get you the info. I will pull it tonight (which will be after 10pm) and shoot that info to you.

Sorry ...

You wouldn't want this ole piece of junk, .

Here's a couple pictures with the center caps on at our local Saturday night car show. PCMCobra allowed me to park next to him so I wouldn't feel so alone, . There was a nice LS1 67 step there also.

By looking at your profile I can see you are a OU fan. It makes me wonder what true OU fan would park next to a Miami and a Florida fan. Do you not remember 1988 or 2009. Haha jk.

Was digging for pics of your Vintec wheels when I came across Post #377... looks like my old friend Gary is in the background of the first pic (top left)...last time I spoke to him was probably Spring 2010...sadly we've lost contact...if you run into him sometime, please tell him Phillip & Haley (my wife) said hello

BTW, the truck looks awesome! It has changed a good bit since I last saw it. Keep up the nice work.

I'm not sure what he has now. When we moved, he had a newer body style S-10 reg. cab that was pearl white & mildly customized. At the time, he was also working on a 73-87 Chevy pickup. I wanna say it was brown. Last time I spoke with him, he mentioned he gave the S-10 to his son.

Here's a better pic of him when we were at Cruisin' the Coast '09:
