Re: Cheap trick patina 70
I changed it to the older one already. I knew with the lip of the rim it would never fit but I had to try. I appreciate the info.

Re: Cheap trick patina 70
The upper and lower bars that go from the frame rail to the center pivot are not installed yet they are what center the rearend as the rear moves up and down the center pivot makes up for the difference in length as the bars travel threw there arc. here is a pic to give you an idea.

Re: Cheap trick patina 70
That makes sense on the watts link..last time I saw one was on a Camaro, and it was preloaded at 45-degrees..wouldn't that cause a little stepping out?

Great looking, beefy setup. What's the plan for exhaust?

Re: Cheap trick patina 70
Superflysteiny ,I dont mean to be nosey but just curious what a ballpark figure would be for a chassis set up like yours would be .It is a piece of Art just as it sits ,but the reason I ask is because of the other thread about what this type of build does to the hobby of our old trucks .Mine are at stock height but I may do another one day a bit lower .I love these kinds of builds and I think its all good for our hobby whether they are lowered or not ,but yours are perfection .I can learn a lot just by looking in here on your builds .

Are you asking me which harness. The computer is stock and that will be tuned on the dyno. I will be running a precision wiring harness. |

SuperFly, N2Billet, Delmo, & Dino still have the 'details' advantage IMO as they've assembled several of these set-ups which helps that learning curve but we all gotta start somewhere
