Re: AD Truck Project

Thanks. I am pretty pleased with them. They are 17x7's and 18x8's. I need to save up for some tires now lol.

Re: AD Truck Project

My neighbor came over while I was working a few weeks back and homed in on two bolts I had missed. I took care of those and then we lifted off the bed and put it in the backyard on saw horses.

I am getting tires today, pics later. I am going to try and make some progress this weekend while it is cooler than 112 and maybe hit up a car show at Coits.

Thanks as always to Scott for the pestering, I mean, motivating me to keep working. There has been many times I have lost interest for one reason or another and he has kept me on track. He is also really good at finding every single driving AD truck in the OKC metro and sending me pics of them on the road lol.

Re: AD Truck Project

Looks like some really nice wheels! Good progress. Hangin there and you'll be in one of those local trucks driving around.

Re: AD Truck Project

I was about to convert my crew cab to the 06 hood and grill but came to my senses and decided to put that effort into this truck instead.

Re: AD Truck Project

My battery was too low to use flash, so this is the best I could do.

Re: AD Truck Project

Yeah that looks nice! You got the right amount of rubber on there, they fit the truck very well. How about a daytime pic with them on the truck

Re: AD Truck Project

I got the drivers side lower bar tacked in. I hope to check my measurements and get the passenger side bar on tomorrow night.

The coating is black chrome. It jumped because of big pics lol. I gotta get back on it this week. I stepped away from it for a few days.

Re: AD Truck Project

So, after feeling some shame for not doing anything with the truck, I worked on it for a couple hours today. I got the lower bars tacked back on, this time straight. I started looking to see where I will put the upper bars.

I also finally took off the old crappy rear bumper and put it out to the bermuda triangle (curb in front of my house). I bet it will be gone by later this evening.
