That truck is an awesome piece of work for sure. And the story about selling it at Barrett Jackson is a shame. I work with a guy that lost 30k in a joint effort on a 70's Cuda there. Congrats on the recognition of the truck, I guess that is what no one could ever take away, the quality of your work and being recognized by your peers for it. Good job.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I kick my self in the butt everyday for selling that truck. Oh well I put the money on my house so now I owe less on it. It hurt to sell it for that kind of money and barrett jackson was very unfair with me. But such is life. It is very cool to be in the mag twice.

Thats great man. This board is great just alot of fun to be on. My wife is always telling me I am addicted to it.

WOW is all i can say... I just read through both your builds (this and the 67) and you do incredible work. Sweet to see your old 67 made it into another mag but too bad on the sale. anyway like to see this one through and the tahoe when you start it. your work and ideas are great and inspiring, keep it up!

To be honest it is the first board I have ever been a part of were everyone is cool. I have yet to see anyone on here try to one up someone else which I think is a testament to everyone on the boards. Anyway I will keep building and I will keep you guys loaded with pics. I would rather lose a couple of thousand to put it though..........and not sold it than to take a major loss like that.

That truck was worth well over 80000.00 dollars...........with the amount of time and dollars.

Long story but the short version is I was told I would be on primetime which included speed. I was told by there main rep if I gave them 1100 I would get this for my money. So I was supposed to go on at 6. They were running way behind. Speed turned off at 8 pm as did all Internet sales. My truck rolled a crossed the stage at 10:30 no speed channel no Internet and the bidders went from standing room only to 200 people. I got screwed. Cost me at least 20000. I could have sued but it's not my style. Not to mention I have no faith in our legal system. The guy with the most money wins. In this case they would just drag it out. So I took it like a man and vowed never to do that again. I put my heart and sole in that truck and I made the decision to take it there so it's my fault. Yes they treated me ****y and that's on them. It's a total scam. So get it out there so no one makes the same mistake. Also they people that work there are rude as hell
