Spindles and Mc Gaughy struts with 3 rings in front, factory 1.5" lift block removed and 2" shackle in the back. Much mo betta.

What wheels are these? I feel like they are factory GM wheels but can't place it. Really look great!

Love Old Yeller, too! Nice work on the LS swap.

Chip, the pictures are awesome, but to see your truck in person was amazing. Your trucks looks so clean and the engine install was very well done. Thanks again for the food too. I had fun.

Thanks Guys! I'm not through all of them yet, but at least he's got it at home and he can drive it and enjoy it while we pick at day projects. That was the goal. Saw a set of ET Vintage V's this weekend that would look AWESOME on it.

I agree 100%!!

Back a few, I commented "doin it on the cheap", which probably wasn't the best choice of words. What I meant was that they researched it thoroughly, used the best "swap" parts for the right price, spent bux where it was needed, took the time to do it right, traded some favors and pulled off one of the cleanest LS plants we'll see (all while doing a full suspension overhaul on the daily driver - in a garage).

The artwork on the cover is awesome!!! Assume you got that done while at the Nat's?

Chip is the real-deal enthusiast and knows how to get it done!

I appreciate the props, John, but the credit for all the low budget stuff goes to Eric. I can't thank him and his Rusty truck enough. He has been invaluable throughout this process.

Thanks also for the Striping props. Mark Ripley did it at the Nats. Boppa wanted me to do it, and I can, but Mark did a muuuuuuch better job than I could ever hope to do at a more than fair price. The cool part is, he was really stoked about the cover and the whole truck as well.

Thanks again, everyone.

It works, and it's cheap enough. I will say that not all relay pigtails are the same. Look for the ones with fat wires, and take the time to split the harness and get as muuuuuch of the wiring on the tails as you can. Get the '88-91 power center off the firewall, and again, take the fusible links and as much wire as you can get with it. I just cut 'em not thinking, and wound up using the hell out of them. PM Skymangs on here for the truck intake mods he does to get the harness in the dash, it's slick.

Somehow I wasn't subscribed to this one. Guess I am now. This looks very nice. I like the engine cover touches.

Re: Old Yeller's new heart-5.3/4l60 swap!

Chinese copy Escalade wheels. 285 and 305 Nexen Roadian tires. Very happy with them so far. Here's a link-

I'm surprised, I've had several positive comments and compliments on it so far.

Thanks for the props!
