Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
new truck so update i guess. i bought it with the ext cab part half primered on one side. finished that on both sides. slowly making my way around the truck. then some (insert curse word) broke into my truck and steal the STOCK radio and cassete player. who would want either of those I mean really.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Thanks guys, it was a nasty shade of gray before I washed it
It's got 1" springs in front and 2" shackles in back...I've got spindles and hangers waiting in the garage, good for another 2" front and back. Just gotta find the time to put them on.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Hey all. I am new here. Here is my 89' Silverado. I have done alot to it since I purchased it. It was not in good shape at all. Very neglected by previous owner. But here it is as of today. I have done way to much to it in repairs and replacement to list. I have some more plans for it later on, but right now I am starting a build on y 70' Chevy truck.

Welcome Greg, nice truck -- I like the fat rallies. And the fog lights.

They did not last long, they started to come off about a year later. If you have a shop in town that does Decals for businesses ?.... you might be able to get them to make a custom set. Around here there is a shop (not sure who it is) because I see quite a few trucks with these stripes "personalized" I will have to show the "flame" pin stripe on it now, I get allot of "where did you get the pin stripe" questions on that too. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
New to forum but finding some great info.
1992 4x2 4.3/5 speed with 360k on it=been a great pickup since I bought it used back in 94. The 1998 2500 HD 5.7 4x4 is the newest chevy I could find with a 5 speed??? Its just a plain jane WT with manual locks and windows, The camo paint helps cover up the white=I hate white! |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Thank you. You dont see the ralleys around here much anymore. Everyone has went to torque thrust or similiar wheels. I am putting ralleys like those on the 70' when I get to that point with it. I just like a good 10" wide wheel on a chevy truck.
