Awesome project!!!
I noticed the thread started in 2011, How old is Darrah, now???

The awesome part is the relationship you have built with your child, many parents are clueless.
A parent only gets one shot at doing it right!!!
You get an A+ from me!!!

I really like the 60-66's. Just plain old work'n man's pickup!

Leaving the old wood can have it's advantages. You can use the pickup for what it was intended...w/o worrying about scratches, etc...

Re: My Daughters First Truck

Nice! Is it going to be a 2 tone or is it going to be a solid color body with a different color for the grille and bumpers?

Solid with the grill and bumpers being the gray color and I think she wants the top of the dash gray also.

I have been following this build for quite a while. Very cool, the truck, Darrah, and the relationship you have, and building it together. I like it happening in stages and driving the truck throughout. Getting exciting now, for both of you. Keep us posted.
