it takes about $800 plus to get a shipment of parts chromed. I have about $500 saved so far. plus I need to make another new mold for the small side vent balls. I have some vacation time coming up in Nov (1 week) and Dec (3 weeks) so I will have lots of time to dedicate to this project. thank you all

Just received my full set and they look great. He even included a template for the center vent cut out. Quality looks good. This will be a great edition to my truck. Still have a long way to go be for it goes in though. I would encourage anyone thinking about these to pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed.

I got mine too and the quality is freakin' awesome!! I highly recommend getting one. Question, where have you guys found a place that does plastic chrome?

just an update. im working on making some new molds. and again if anybody does not mind getting your parts in raw you can send them out yourself to have them chromed. this way you dont need to wait so long.

still working on the smaller side vents mold. im building up the material to oversize the part because of the shrinkage issue im having. layer after layer this is a long process but in the end it will make a nicer part. Im a perfectionist i just cant help it.

Can't wait until the side vent balls are in stock. The center vent is very nice, so I'm sure these will be quality as well. Plus, they look WAY cooler than the Vintage Air lower dash panel that is currently installed.

Anyone find a 'reasonable' place to get these vents chromed? Found a spot on the east coast but they want 70.00 per vent.... x the 5 vents.... adds up in a hurry plus shipping/waiting. Need to get this off the list, thanks

I know of a place in north hollywood. My mom worked there in the 80's. Trying to find out if they are still around. I had a chrome phone back then! I'll keep you posted.
