Hey, I know that guy. He just finished a rebuild on the car. It's a Supercharged LS.

His '66 Chevelle is a big block, they are both really nice cars.

Thanks for that info. Never in my life have I heard those terms, even after reading the explanation nothing stirred in the mothballs of my brain haha.

I think he got in a wreck with it back in 2017. He brought it by the body shop for an eestimate when Burban was getting painted. I got to see it up close and your right it's very nice.

Sorry I missed you . I wish I was up there now. When I was there a couple of weeks ago, the bears were a royal pain in the arse.

Those are so cool! There's one in my neighborhood I see once or twice a year. So Mid-century modern I'd have to buy a Brady Bunch house just to park it in front of.

Thanks, that's my house. It's in a ghost town in Tahoe National Forest. It was built in 1883 over the basement dug in 1852. The original building burnt in 1882. It was originally a meat market and has a mural painted by a freed slave in 1883...

Looks like a cool place. It seems to have solitude, which is good.

Oh, you're totally correct. It was a gold rush town of 3000 in its heyday. 17 buildings left today. I have turned the market room into a pool room with a lot of beer lights. It has a 3 bedroom house to the rear. Back then they lived where they worked. It is a federal designated landmark.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

Seen this Chevelle yesterday while wife and I were running some errands in the 'big city', aka Wichita. Our little town is maybe 7,500 total, Wichita is upwards near 400,000 so it' a big city to our little burg.

Either a '66 or '67, not sure which or how to tell the difference. 396 BBC, black bucket interior with a four speed and console. Paint and interior was really nice, recent build maybe?

Nice! It's a 67 for the record. From that view tha wrap around tail lights is the giveaway.

Saw this Nova a couple days ago. It had a cowl induction hood but the stock single exhaust. A young man was driving it but I was unable to chat with him.

It`s always great to see young people driving the old cars. I always try to talk to them, if possible. There`s always a cool story behind it.

Early Maverick. We had a 71 that replaced out 428 Mercury Montego after my older brother got his driver's license. That 200 six auto was around until all of us kids left home and was replaced by a 305 LX Mustang.

Always a good reminder that the maverick name didn't start out as a pickup with a short bed thats practically useless. Always hated they had to repurpose the name kinda like the blazer, don't get me started on that one
I spy a raised roof suburban in the background? Would be cool to get a full shot of that one.
