I plan on doing the Memphis date. I see you around here in Memphis all the time. Do you ever come to the cruise-in on Thursday nights at the corner of Kirby Whitten and Stage? You need to bring that thing so we can check it out!! Great job!

Pretty much done and I drive it everyday. (I have no other vehicle)

I do still need to widen my tubs in the bed to cover up my frame rails that hump up over the axle, but I'm too busy on The Bride of Young Frankenstein!!!!!

Check her out on the alternate tinkerings board area of this site.

Hello Drew, gr8 truck. I was in Memphis recently with my wife visiting friends and family and while I was eating at the ONE & ONLY BarB-Q joint I saw your truck out side and clicked off a few photos. I looked on here to find your truck but couldn't find it until one of my '47-'59 contacts gave me a link to your page.I did however see your build on http://www.build-threads.com/build-t...ew-cab-pickup/ Awesome truck man I really like it, you got some mad skills. Any photos of Bride of Young Frankenstein coming in the near future?

This is too funny, Biz and I were eating inside the One & Only BBQ with you!

Glad you found me here online, thanks for the kind words.

The Bride has her own website here under the alternate tinkerings tab.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Wow, I just went through this thread and I'm amazed.

I came here to ask what it took to get those nice GM 5 spoke wheels to fit on a 67-72 truck. But I don't have the talent to do what you did. There's a set local for pretty cheap and I want to pick them up to go on my '70 GMC but I don't think they'll fit.

Yeah that is too funny I just should have come back inside and said " HEY WHO IN HERE OWNS THE NICE CREW CAB OUTSIDE!!! LOL oH BTW I realize there are tons of good BBQ places in Memphis I really like Central BBQ but One & Only BBQ I liked the best for the short time I was there.

If anyone is out there, I am packing up and doing the Hot Rod Power Tour tomorrow leaving from Memphis and going to Birmingham/Hoover AL and then the next day to Gulfport MS. Check out Power Tour on Hotrod.com to see exact locations.

Hope to meet up with some followers!

^^^ Yep. That was me & my wife that came by just before the photographer came up. We talked about the truck & the Sports Clips.

Love the truck. And love that you use it as intended. Great to finally meet you in person.

Look at this sweet '57 Pontiac we are following! It is very similar to our Bride.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Frankie just went under water in Mobile! He still seems to be running fune, though.

We also met Bill (Palf70Step) at the Gulfport show today, super nice guy. Tomorrow everyone is hanging a right to Baton Rouge, but we hung a left tonight to go stay with friends in Alys Beach. Tomorrow we head on to Orlando for a volleyball tournament as well as Disney World!!!

Well PM with your schedule, and maybe we can get some people together. If you're staying near Disney maybe we can get together at Old Town for their Cruise in
