Oh man ... your are killing me.... are you there right now?
Go to BJ's Chicago Pizzaria, set at the windows and watch all the ship traffic at Lahainna Harbor as the waves rolling in. Mai Tai's and pizza in paradise. Good times! Last edited by lakeroadster; 02-08-2011 at 02:47 PM. |

Toss back a couple of Mai Tais for me, if the wife gives you the "stink eye" tell her Lakeroadster said it was "OK".

Well lets see. Got this truck when I was 16, now I'm 36. Currently has a Mr. Goodwrench 350 and Super T-10 in it. Got it painted and rebuilt the suspension about 10 years ago and ever since then I have kind of lost interest in it because it didn't seem like my good ol' truck anymore. Kind of hard to explain but it just wasn't as fun as it was before that. But I have decided recently, after having to drive it for a week while my daily driver was down for repairs, that I need to get some stuff done to her. Mainly disc brakes/suspension (gotta lower it), rebuild the bed and I want to redo the interior back to a bench seat, stock champagne color and I might go completely nuts and put it back to a 3 on the tree. Oh and I need a pair of 6 lug aluminum slots (like what I am seeing in your avatar?) to throw on the back to give it kind of a old gasser/funny car feel. And I have hundreds of photos of her but 99% are old 35mm. Guess I need to take it out once the snow is gone and get some with the digital. Last edited by tinker_troy; 02-10-2011 at 09:40 PM. |

Cool truck, welcome to the forum. The wheels look like vintage Astro Mags. It looks like it just stepped out of the 60's.

Let's see... 36-16 =20, 2011-20=1991 I can't tell what year, so I'll go with 1965. 1991-1965=26. The truck was only 26 years old when you got it. No matter how board you get with it, don't ever get rid of it. I got rid of mine when it was only 22, and I really regret ever selling it.
