No real plans right now, For now is to get everything working and safe and drive it like it is. First things are to get it running and stopping, 2 doors and a seat.

Thanks John, this truck was less than five miles from your house I'm guessing. Thanks for the heads up on the tires.

I will be getting a build thread going for this and will post a link here when done.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

So, one minute you're considering selling your truck because it's taking too much time from your family and then in another breath you're buying another project. What's the deal? And it's not even the correct year. Are you trying to sneak over to the dark side?

It won't be near the build as Vitamin C10, but still interesting. \

your right. I did go thru a tuff decision and while doing so I realized being surrounded with all the estrogen in the house I needed something to keep me grounded.

I like wreckers but really wanted a burb for the family. This deal came along and I couldn't pass it up. $900 is a smoking deal I believe.

Fix up the Wrecker, and flip it for a Burban. Then sell Vitamn C-10 to build a Steroid Vitamn C-10 Burban.. Win,win, and everybody will be happy.
Just my 2 cents.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

I figured after two years of driving it was time to hook up the ebrake. I kind of went with the 66 style with no bell crank on the tranny crossmember. All my cables are 65 except I made the center after buying a 66 cable guide kit. Thanks for woogeroo's write up I made it work.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

I can't believe that I haven't thought of this sooner. I picked up a 12v 15w portable solar panel and also got a 12v clip on fan. Hopefully it will help this summer at the shows.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

That's cool, but the fun in owning these trucks is driving them, especially if you have A/C in it.
