I built my own brackets because they are truck coils and no one makes brackets for the truck coils. I mounted them straight to the back of the heads. Then I made my own wires. Correct that, Jimmy made the wires and we ran them behind the headers and covered the wires with heat protection. Very clean in my opinion

I may have some pics let me ask Jimmy

Tootsie looks great. Are you going to put trim around the tail lights?

Great question most likely no. I had 10 people stand back and look at it. All agreed it did not look good and took away from the lights. We will be redoing the tailgate because the gold leaf did not turn out right. So I may remove the trim all together

I could see that seeing as the tail lights already have trim on them. If it were mine I would remove the tailgate trim, I think it would look a little cleaner.

Yep I had already drilled the holes in the tail gate so had to run the trim

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

You could make a spear on each end and just have the trim on the gate, it would make the trim look shorter and would be custom.

Did you take any pictures of these installed? It is a very clean looking install. Do you think the heat protection will hold up to a lot of driving? thanks
